"Warranty got handled without much hassle"
I don’t remember every little detail now, but I do remember the warranty part going smoothly with aamco. There was a bit of a wait, but they kept me in the loop and got it taken care of, so no real complaints from me.

"Honest shop, but communication could be clearer"
Overall, I had a good experience with aamco. They seemed honest with me from the start, explained what was wrong, and didn’t try to push a bunch of extra work I didn’t need. My only annoyance was that the communication around timing wasn’t always super clear, so I had to follow up a bit more than I would’ve liked. Still, they treated me fairly, and that’s not always easy to find. I’d use them again.

"Really nice customer service"
I had a really good experience with the folks at AAMCO. From my visit, they were easy to talk to and I didn’t feel rushed at all. They explained everything in a way that made sense to me and took the time to answer my questions. Overall, it was a smooth visit, and I personally thought the customer service was great

"They figured it out fast"
I’ve had places in the past keep me guessing and replacing parts that didn’t fix anything, so I really appreciated how quickly they found the actual issue. The diagnosis was right on, and it saved me a lot of time and frustration

"Pretty fair price from what I can tell"
I took my car to AAMCO after another shop gave me a higher quote. I’m not a mechanic, so I can’t say for sure how everything compares, but they looked it over, explained what they said needed to be done, and the final price seemed fair to me. It definitely wasn’t the cheapest thing ever, but based on what I understand about the work, it felt worth it. It did take a little longer than I was hoping, but overall I’m happy with the experience.

"Transmission repair was okay"
I had my transmission repaired at AAMCO, and overall it’s working better than it was before. The car definitely shifts a little smoother now, but I was expecting a more noticeable improvement after the repair. It also took longer than they originally told me, and every now and then I still feel a small jerk when it shifts. The price wasn’t exactly cheap either, so I guess I was hoping for a cleaner fix. Not a terrible experience, just not quite as smooth as I expected.

"They told me the price up front"
I went to aamco because my car was shifting kinda weird, and I was nervous it was gonna turn into one of those huge surprise bills. They looked it over and actually explained the price before they started anything, which I really appreciated.
There wasn’t any pressure or confusing shop talk, just a straight answer on what needed to be done and what could wait. And the final bill matched what they told me, too, which is rare with car places in my experience.

"Easy appointment, but felt a bit dismissed"
Booking the appointment was quick, and I did appreciate that they kept me updated along the way. It was easy overall, but I did feel a little dismissed when I had a question, like they just wanted to move things along instead of really listening.

"Took a bit longer than expected"
Work was okay in the end. No big issues there. But it took longer than they said at first. I had to call twice just to get updates. Kinda annoying.
